On July 19, 2022, at the Fort Langley Community Hall, Langley-Aldergrove MP – Tako Van Popta handed out the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee award to Deborah Silvester, an outstanding Canadian who has contributed to making Canada a better country by improving lives around her.
“As Member of Parliament for Langley-Aldergrove, I am delighted to have this opportunity to recognize everyday Canadians who have dedicated their time and effort to improving the lives of those around them and helping to make Canada a better country,” said MP Tako Van Popta.
